Impact Air Systems installs flexible plastic FilmLift solution and Dust Control System at new $30m recycling facility in Ohio, USA.

The recycling facility is capable of processing 144K tons of material a year and will contribute to the circular economy with its state-of-the-art features.

The Impact FilmLift solution is an integral component at this facility, with six 2.8m wide collection hoods connected to the optical sorters to seamlessly remove the ejected flexible plastic packaging from the material stream to ensure quality and elimination of such contaminants. The flexible plastic is baled for recycling. The dust control system collects, filters and briquettes the dust created to provide a safe and essential solution.

Impact’s solutions are playing a major part in providing quality waste streams at recycling facilities around the world. If you would like to find out more about this solution or our other material separation solutions, please get in touch.
