High-Capacity Recycling Facility Integrates Impact Air Systems FilmLift Technology

A major new recycling facility, capable of processing 144,000 tonnes of material annually, has been commissioned to support the circular economy with cutting-edge technologies and a strong focus on quality and sustainability.

Integrated Impact Air Systems Solutions

At the heart of this advanced plant is the Impact FilmLift system, a critical component in the recovery and separation process. The facility features six 2.8-metre-wide collection hoods, precisely integrated with optical sorters. These hoods efficiently remove ejected flexible plastic packaging from the material stream, preventing contamination and improving the quality of the recovered recyclables. The collected flexible plastic is then baled for dedicated recycling.

Dust Control for Operator Safety and System Integrity

To ensure the facility remains clean and safe, a robust dust control system has also been installed. This system captures airborne dust generated during sorting, filters it, and compacts it into briquettes for easy handling and disposal. This solution not only protects workers and equipment but also enhances overall operational efficiency.
