Our solution
To manage the trim waste from the Hunkler digital print finisher the Impact Trim Master TM180 bagging unit was installed and a Trim Master TM80 twin bagging unit to collect from the Bowe Systec finishing lines, both at their Sheffield facility. This cost effective, flexible, trim and dust extraction unit seamlessly collects waste material from
a single production machine and delivers it to a locally mounted trim bagging station, where the waste is collected in polythene bags for manual disposal, enabling continuous production.
An Impact heat extraction system was installed to extract UV heat produced by a Heidelberg XL75 printer at the Dagenham production facility.
A range of waste conveying ductwork was installed via the machines extraction hoods which rises to high level. Each of the three extraction points (DryStar, AirStar and CombiStar)
has its own internal fan and inline axial fan. Once at high level, the extracted hot air is transported from the machine and through the external wall and exhausted to atmosphere.
A bagging unit was installed to collect the powder created during production.
