Impact Air Systems Wins Industry Excellence Award for Sustainability and Innovation

Leicester-based Impact Air Systems has been honoured with an Industry Excellence Award in recognition of its outstanding commitment to sustainability, innovation, and the high performance of its air-based waste extraction and material separation systems.

The company, which serves sectors ranging from recycling and packaging to beverage can manufacturing, was praised for developing technologies that help reduce environmental impact and support clients in maximising recycling efforts.

“This award reflects both our sustainability goals and the quality of engineering we provide to customers around the world,” said Dave Lansdell, Technical Sales Director. “We’re proud to support our clients in reaching zero-waste targets, while ensuring our own operations are environmentally responsible.”

With over 30 years’ experience and an international footprint, Impact has delivered advanced solutions to companies such as Ball Packaging and Smurfit Kappa, and continues to grow in response to rising demand from e-commerce, logistics and packaging sectors.

Recent innovations like the ZAC1200 zigzag air classifier, offering 50% higher capacity, have positioned the company as a leading force in material separation technology, further boosting recycling efficiency and sustainability in waste management operations.

Impact expands its reach across the US, Europe and Japan, with a strong focus on partnering with global recycling and packaging leaders.
